Food, after all, is always more fun together.

Letterbox Cookery was designed as a recipe-swapping system that encouraged shared skills through stories and connection.

The initiative aimed to connect seniors and youth, evoking nostalgia for food lovers and encouraging home chefs to share their skills with the world.

Handwritten notes and personal stories are so much more meaningful.

Through various touchpoints, we worked to empower seniors to pass on their knowledge in the kitchen to the next generation.

We believe that strengthening bonds between our seniors and youth through the education of food literacy will build a stronger, healthier Aotearoa where everyone eats better, together.
